Why choose a particular projector ? There is such a wide choice but it can be narrowed down :-

 Firstly  Resolution  Choose one to match your usual computer or laptop , XGA native resolution is currently the most common  (1024 X 768 pixels)  but if you are looking at X-rays then 1600 X 1200 would be better ( SXGA )

Secondly  Brightness  2000 ANSI Lumens for the average small seminar room , 3000 for a larger hall  and to display without drawing the curtains at all even more

Other items to consider , Type and number of  inputs , lamp life , lens angle, noise of fan,
